For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I live in Worcester County area and I was wanted to put a question out there. I know that it hard to determine what good or bad in the news today. But are there any supports for Mom in the Worcester Area for I worry so much and have no one here to talk to . People and friend dont understand.

I got my letter and was I ever excited! My son A.J. is ship 14,div 197 with a graduation date of May 24th........Anyone else out there with the same? I would love to talk to some other moms.........Thx........Mary Anne

Today was a day that I had mixed emotions.. Baby Girl completed her packet and WILL be off to boot camp 9/23/2013. Now I know that seems like an eternity for some but for me it is just around the corner.. Oh how I am gonna miss my daughter. I am so proud and honored to call her mine!!!

I was able to hear from my daughter yesterday. She called for information needed, but to hear her voice was great! I think it helped her to hear my voice also.What a great feeling!

my son has been in bootcamp almost 3 weeks. ship 03 div 184 today is easter and my sons birthday, i thought forsure they would let him call! Guess not did anyone receive a call?

Hi! we got a call yesterday from our recruit. I just went through boot camp with my daughter. She is a M.A . Now this year my son-in-law is in great lakes! Is there anyone on here thats child is with ship 13 div 187? Would love to hear from you !

Hi! My son left for greatlakes bc 3/19/13. I havent received anything from him but a box of clothes. After speaking to his recruiter I got his address.. He is on ship 12 div 189... Anyone else have a loved one on same ship and div?
