For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Well Saturday was a wonderful day. Michael went to his last Klondike Scout District event to support his brother who was choosen to be in the OA (Michael is also a member) Joseph was so excited that his brother took off from work to be there they had so much fun then Michael will be going to the ordeal to again support his brother. Finally found the site that other families are part of the same ship/division, nice to read that everybody is going though the same as us. Anybody know why our ship/division has males/females? how do they decide this? Not having a problem with it just wondering.

My son left for BC on 2/15/12. I got the short call that he arrived safely and am waiting for an address. It's been a teary few days for this Mom.

I wanted to add a special thank you to Sarge for the wonderful time at the meet and greet for the 02/10/2012 PIR Division's graduation and to let everyone know for all the upcoming PIR graduations we found out that Sarge provides food at his own expense from local restaurants. What a valentines day-- taking my son to join the Navy. Cant say I enjoyed yesterday at all. I'm here looking for something to give me some peace, to ease the pain of letting go.

My navy boyfriend has been at boot camp for 2 weeks and 1 day.. I miss him terribly and was lonely today on valentines day. After two years of talking every day its so hard. I know we can do it because I have such faith in him and our love :) Has anyone gotten any letters from Ship 12 Div 100 yet?? Hoping for one soon!!!
