I was hoping I would get a call or letter this week, a lot of the other ships/div for the same PIR have gotten call & letters last week.  I knew I needed to keep my phone with me today.  Of course I was at the grocery store and my purse was closed by I thought I heard my phone, by the time I got to an.swer it, he had hung up.  I was so upset with myself, I texted my hubby and told him I was totally upset.  Luckily he called me back!!!!! First Week

Well today marks the "full" 1 week for my son to be gone.  There was a sales rep that came in today asking about him and when he was leaving.  I had to tell her it was 1 week to the day.  I'm proud of myself, I didn't lose it when she started talking about him.  I've gotten to the part that I'm just ready to get his address to mail my letters.  I think the other thing that has helped is writing to him…

I…

Last week home

Well this is the final week my SR will be home.  I still don't have a definite date for his departure.  I always thought he was leaving on the 1st, but he kept telling me was the 31st.  I get a text from him at the recruiters office saying he is leaving on 1st.  I think I will call the recruiter just for verification, I am NOT going to miss his swearing in.  I have known since fall of last year that he…
