Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

movies 2012

Went with Michael to see Act of Valor wow awesom movie seems 2012 is the year for Navy movies. Battleship looks pretty cool comes out May 12.  Ever sense Michael signed his papers it seems we are seeing Navy everywhere we turn looks like the decision he made was the right one. i made it

Well I did it made it through my sons 18th birthday with out breaking down to many times. He had a great day got him a dairy queen blizzard cake his favorite chocolate extreme. His papa took him for there dinner by themselves, Saturday were going as a family. It was a wonderful day. Im so glad I was able to spend it with my son.

nice day

Well Saturday was a wonderful day. Michael went to his last Klondike Scout District event to support his brother who was choosen to be in the OA (Michael is also a member) Joseph was so excited that his brother took off from work to be there they had so much fun then Michael will be going to the ordeal to again support his brother. I took some wonderful pictures then I came home sat down and cried. These days are getting to be so hard knowing each scout event and holiday that comes will be…

sad morning

went into my sons room he was sleeping away then it was an abstacle course tripping over his games, xbox turtles, picking up clothes then i thought wow soon i will going into a empty room not tripping over anything or picking up clothes. a wave of sadness came over me so at 5am I started doing laundry and cleaning the house its what i do best when i have to think about something else. papa knows best

michael just had his first mandatory meeting today (dep) i think its called he was laughing and said everything they talked about his papa already went over with him lol his papa is retired CW3 in the Army. Michael couldnt believe how much his papa knows even though he is Army lol. Gotta love the bond a grandfather and grandson share i know i do. When Michael leaves I wont be the only one upset luckily he has his other grandson Joseph still here he starts high school in the fall.

what a month this will be

My son Michael turns 18 this month wow it went by so fast. He has his first DEP meeting Tuesday not sure what to expect he is excited but a little nervous about it. We also have lots of scout stuff this month with his younger brother who talks about following his brother into the Navy what a life we live in gotta love it.
