Hi Bullymom!

I'm actually in Texas so I think it's awesome your waaay closer to your son! My fiance also left on the 5th, So when do you think we'll get his box?

The first two days seemed so different! I couldn't go to work or even to the store without getting sad or wanting to cry because he was ALWAYS around. I could def tell the difference and missed him so much. It's like another Navy mom told me, you don't realize how much a person means to you until they aren't around anymore. The good thing about our sailors is that we do get to see them again, and it makes it ten times more special :)

My girl left Aug 27th........I have nothing at this point trying to stay positive but getting somewhat discouraged and perhaps a bit worried.  Trying to chin up and suck up today :)  Alot of people received theirs very quickly and have even had calls already.  Best of luck to you and your SR this group is a fantastic place to get info.

My son left on the 13 of aug& I got his box on the 19th& his letter telling me about graduation and the ppl he would like to attend a few days later.
Then 3 1/2 weeks later I got his letter and a call this sun. As soon as u get their address start writing them!
That's what keeps them going!
