Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Keep Smiling, Stay Strong, Love Deeply

I am such an impatient person (which I guess is prolly not the best trait in a military significant other) but I've learned to deal with my impatience by stopping and thinking. Tuesday will make it three weeks! He's been gone for three weeks :) and when I look back I'm pretty proud of the stuff I've accomplished. I've reestablished old friendships, I've lost a couple pounds, I've been more focused on work and my letter writing skills have greatly improved! I've even managed to strengthen my family relationships, both with my family and with his family. Although it feels like half of me is missing its nice to know I can count on myself to be the same independent person Ive always known was there :) and on top of that to be able to keep being dependent on the man I love even when he is gone! My life has a changed a lot in recent years and even more in the last couple of months BUT it's been a positive change for me and I'm hoping (I know) my fiancé will appreciate it to.I love him and I'm changing for him, to have more honor, to have more commitment, and to be the courageous person ive always had with me. I'm finding the strength inside me he always knew was there. Even when he's gone he enriches my life everyday.
When ever your feeling down or just plain missing them remember:
Keep smiling :)
Stay strong!
Love deeply <3
And don't ever forget the one person your going through this for.
The thought of that face is enough to keep you going for days :)
