Yes, each date listed on the BStations schedule is the starting date. They finish the next morning, "I'm a Sailor calls" start in the early to mid afternoon (and longer).

Hi! I saw your post about driving to PIR. I just wanted to say...you all have a VERY large PIR group...14 divisions. The average is about 9-11. So this will be a big one. You would need to be in line by 6 a.m. is my guess. Hard to know. I would imagine that the line may be quite long even by then. They start letting people on base at 6:30. They do random checks of the cars (with the trained dogs) as they come on base. You may want to consider the shuttle (I believe Springhill has one) and be on the first one. They should have one leaving at 6:30. I read a post by one man who got in line at 5:30 with his car and was number 6 in line. Just plan on lots of waiting if you drive but for sure get in line very early or you may not have much choice of seating in the PIR hall. Everyone will know this is a large group and I think will be arriving early. My son's group was 8-9 divisions (can't remember!) which is considered on the small side. We took the 6:30 shuttle from our hotel, got right in the gate, and were seated by 7. PERFECT. We had to wait until 9 for it to start, but you can bring your breakfast in, they have souvenir tables too, and there is some pre-PIR acitvities (especially people watching!). Good luck!

Yes! We will be attending - we're talking about whether we will drive or fly. I think it's about 18 hours but we would take 2 or 3 days as not to be so tired. Where are you staying?

My son is in the same division. I didn't know what he meant either when he kept talking in his first letter about being in the performance division until I was on this site. This site is very helpful and encouraging! Have you found the Christian Chat group yet. It is a great group to be a part of!

Welcome to N4M. Your key to adjusting is finding a group where you can feel comfortable and get answers to your questions – Click on the underlined links:
1. New Moms Stop Here group. You should think of this group as your orientation station. We do have a number of experienced members who can answer questions and point you in the right direction.
2. Depper’s… in but not yet . is a group for those just waiting for bootcamp to start (Delayed Entry Program – a depper)
3. Boot Camp Moms group. Is he/she already in bootcamp? Or just about to go in? This is the group.
4. OCS Graduate Moms or the NROTC Moms. For those going to be an officer or going to NROTC?
Read this blog to get a jump start on how to use the N4M site.
Welcome to New Members
Of particular importance is the use of the “Search” function. You should do searches in blogs, forums, discussions for answers in previously posted threads BEFORE adding a NEW blog/discussion. Finally, it takes time to learn how to use this site. Be patient. Check your page & status box often.
Best of luck, BunkerBee and AbbyblueOK (from the New Moms Stop Here Group)
