Just checking in. We received letters today! There some mom's on facebook 2/938 who received them yesterday. Crossing my fingers that you have received yours!

I have also not received any phone calls or mail as of yet. Not sure why it is taking so long but I keep reminding myself no news is good news! I am going to change my username just a heads up but it is nice to find someone else in the same division. Hope you hear something soon, hang in there!

No word yet. I was finally starting to settle down but with everyone getting calls and letters I am right back to being a mess! It is nerve racking to hear of other divisions not only getting letters but calls too!! There are several moms on the facebook page who say that they have not received anything either. I have heard that the 900 division is kept pretty busy and doesn't have as much free time as some of the other div's.

Hi, since your Recruit is in a performing division, you may also want to join the Group, 900's division sailors.  There will be information on there that relates to your situation.  Here is a site I found that explains about 900 Divisions.  The Requirements for the Navy RTC 900 Division.  I believe that Division 938 is Ship Staff/Honor Guard (the body snatchers, those who guard various things...), BTW.  Isee you have joined the group for your SR's PIR date, other groups that you may want to join, or at least check out, are Boot Camp Mom's, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here.  (Group names and the site name within this comment are clickable links.)  Take care and blessings to you and yours.

Welcome to NavyForMoms.com!!

I hope you get all the information here you are looking for.  Please stop by the Survival Guide for New Moms for some of the info to start with.
If you have a new Recruit and need phone cards for them please check out Calls for Recruits.org and get them for FREE.  I feel that the Family, Loved Ones, nor the Men and Women of our Armed Forces should have to pay for phone calls from Boot Camp.  The link above will take you to the website to send the email for the FREE phone cards if you need them.  Please spread the word if you know of anyone who can use this great service!!!
