Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My son has now been away for six days. Including his travel day. He should be getting out of P-days either tomorrow or the next. While he was in DEP for many months, I began to cherish my time with him more and more. It wasn't until the last month of him being home that I really started to feel it. Don't forget to make at least changes 3 and 4.
Make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). It's not a good idea to post a pic of your SR every time you post. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Comments on this page are for you. Others do not see them unless they happen by. To reply to someone who posts here, click on "Comment Back" or "View Thread" below the comment.
There is no need for a group for a single division.
To remove a group, go to your group and click on “Options” in the upper right. Then click on “Edit Group.” Under “Members”, click “Approve all new members” and then click Save. Then Copy the URL to the group and go to “Report an Issue” at the bottom of the Page and click that. Click “Other” if it is not already selected and then ask Tiffany to remove your group and paste the URL. Thanks.
What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
