FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Profile Information

A little about me:
Mother of 4, my two oldest are 19 and 18 years old and my youngest are 10 and 5. Very proud of my Sailor and my SR. My two oldest decided to join the Navy and I am very supportive and will always stand by them until they accomplish their goals even if that means seeing them go. My 19 year old's PIR was 3/9/2012 he went to A school in Great Lakes now an OS in USS Cole. Now my 18 year old has gone to Boot Camp on August 13 he's in the NUKE program PIR 10/12/2012...seems i've been thru this only yesterday now doing it again doesn't get any easier...but i'm a very proud mom!

Ship 9 Div 327

Anyone? I received form letter on Wednesday 8/22. PIR will be on 10/12/2012. My son is in the NUKE program left from Jacksonville, Fl on August 13.  Already sent my mail. We might have letters next Wednesday!!!
