All Hands Magazine's mini-documentary series "Making a Sailor": These six videos follow four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Hi my name is Charissa, I just saw your post under the wives group. I am a navy wife who lives in oak habor and I'm from oak harbor :). I'd be happy to help your soon to be/ daughter in law out. I know all about this place and where to go. And I'm always happy to make new friends.
I gave Charlie the easy way out I think by sending him those questionnaires, now he doesn't write me anything about what is really going on..... Oh well, I will live vicariously through you! I have already ordered the t-shirts but if I get to talk with him again I'll ask about the sweatshirts.
I have heard you can get the t-shirts at PIR as well. But you can also order them in advance so you can have them to wear at the M&G or any other time you want. You can fax or email your order in and they will ship them to you before you leave for PIR - this is what I am going to do. I heard the NEX can be crazy on PIR day....
