Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Angella welcome to Navy Moms, when he reaches the Airport in Chicago they will be picked up by a bus and taken to BC. I am going to give you some sies to read ok. Have your phone close this evening and maybe now. it will be a fast scripted call so get in the I love yous.

When will "The Box" come?
It will usually arrive by FedEx within a few days, but it can take up to 2 weeks at times.
It is ok to feel that way, just know also you may have spurts of crying and feeling emotional, just know that is ok too. join Boot camp for Moms or DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in March you will have much needed support on both sites. if there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to ask. There are Many Great Ladies on these sites and anyone and everyone will help answer your questions or concerns.
It was really late when I received my call and I slept with my phone, I know the feeling you are feeling, I was a hot mess myself when I went thru this. I cried all the time my Husband didnt know what to do, my supervisor didnt know what to do because I cried a work too, anyone mentioned my son I cried. It took me a long while to join this Group, I was afraid they would think I am crazy, but it really came down that all the Mothers were feeling the same and how I was feeling was actually Normal. My Son is the Baby so it was very hard letting go, and we have a Great Bond. You will get Great Support and lots of encouragement, and prayer. These Ladies on this site are Amazing and Wonderful. I help out on Boot camp for moms so if there is anything you may need please come and post and you will see all the Ladies will share their Experience. So you are not alone!
