My son will be leaving in September for bootcamp. I am so proud of him! However everytime I think about all of this I start crying. I know when he leaves I am going to be an emotional mess!

I absolutely agree. I feel that my cup runneth over. I’m choking up as I write this- I’m thinking about the obstacles that he is facing today and what he may be thinking. I pray for his strength. Thank you so much for your kind words <3

Have a blessed day!

Hello Sheryl,

As days get closer for your sons departure be comforted in knowing he is doing something that makes him happy. I know this doesn't make your heart stop from breaking because I would be lying if I said otherwise. I completely broke down and was so emotional. Its okay to cry, its okay to not want to talk, its okay for you to be angry. When all this is over bootcamp for him it will make you stronger.

Take lots of pixs, and even have him leave you a voice message on your cell. it helps...…...Hugs to you and all the new Mom's going thru this. Prayers always

My son Seth shipped out 2 days ago to the Great Lakes. I'm so proud of him. Every time I stop and think of how far he's come I start to cry and thank God for answering my prayers.

Jen(OS Mom)-- Please join us on the main Boot Camp moms page.  I also have a blog that will give you an idea of what to expect for the first few weeks.

Jen(OS Mom) -- awww, congratulations to your son.  Next month it will be 2 years that my son left for boot camp.

Hi Tammy_Girl ! Hope all is going well for your sailor!

Hi Tammy_Girl,

How are you and your Sailor doing? It's good to see you on here. :)

Jen(OS Mom),

Good Morning,

How are we doing this morning? Don't forget to post on the main page when you can. You've got this!!!

Chipmunk, thanks for reaching out.  Yep, our sailor is doing well.  Still in San Diego.  He was home last month for 3 weeks.  It was SO nice.  The weeks just flew by.  Hopefully it will work out that we can visit him next April.  And he might be home for Christmas.  How's your sailor?

partyofseven, yep, I'm still around.  I like to still be active on here.  Though I might not always respond to a post, I do like hearing about all the sailors travels.  Hugs to all Navy Moms out here!!
