Submarine moms are special:

--- All of us have boys, "SAILORS!"

 --- Who serve on "boats,"

 --- With whereabouts unknown, and

--- We only get sporadic, short emails while they're out!

Tell us where your sailor serves...

My son, Chris, is a MM3 on the USS Houston out of Guam. It is hard to believe that he has now been on the Houston for an entire year. They have recently been in Hawaii, but will be soon be heading back to Guam.
Tracy, my son Michael was on the USS Houston....in fact he went from Guam to Hawaii on the sub, flew back to Guam to check out of the base, then went on leave (came home to see me), after that went back to Hawaii for a week, checked off of the sub and is now stationed in Australia. I will have to ask my son if he knows your son (I'm sure he does since he was on the Houston for a year)...what a small world.
My son is on the USS Pennysvlvania - a Nuke stationed at Bangor. He has been on the Penn for four years, in the Navy for six. The Penn is a boomer.
My son Brian is serving on the SCRANTON! He will be leaving on deployment in February.
My son, Kyle, is a Nuke, an MM on board the USS Michigan out of Bangor, WA. He joined the boat 2 1/2 years ago, has been in the Navy since 2003.
As I've said before my son is on the City of Curpus Christi (SSN 705) Navel Base Guam

Is there anybody else on N4M with a son on the Curpus Christi????
I would love to find another mom out there...
My son is on the USS Albuquerque, currently stationed in Groton, CT, but moving to San Diego, CA at the end of his next 6 month mission. I wold be interested in hearing from other moms who have a son stationed in San Diego - or even better a mom whose son is on the USS Albuquerque. I am so proud of my son and his achievements. I know it hard for these guys and they can never tell us what they do or where they go. Aren't they a blessing to us all!?
it is so nice to find a Albuquerue mom, haven't had much contact this deployment. i check every day fro Drew mail. he sent mial the other day wanting to know if i was coming to San Diego when they come in. well of course, we live in Alabama but i would not miss it for anything, told him i need to know where and when but of course he can't tell me anything, so i am hoping to get email or a letter about arrival. oh by the way Drew is a ET,
My son is new to the sub scene..Joshua is a STS3 (electric something) lol He joined the USS Springfield out of groton, ct in Sept. I wish he were closer ...kingsbay was MY preference but he loves CT and the snow.
Matthew's Mom here. My son is on the USS Kentucky out of Bangor,WA. He's an ET and will probably be out there for another 3 years. (18 months so far!)
My son Josh, is a MM. He is stationed in New London, CT (brrrrr! We are from CA so this is quite a change). He will be on the USS Memphis. I am so excited as he will be coming home in a few weeks for a bit before he ships out on his very 1st mission!
My son Alex is stationed aboard the USS Miami in Groton, CT. He is an ET. I haven't heard from him since he returned to Groton after being home for New Years. While he was home he applied for a passport. He will need it when they deploy in a few months. I've been sending him e-mails and leaving phone messages, but so far he hasn't called. I have no idea whether to send it to his off base address or his FPO address. I don't want to put it into the mail until he knows that its on its way. I've sent him packages before and he never got them. Of course, they were food packages and those don't ever seem to get to him.
