Its been so busy at work, I dont get to be on line much now, that's probally good to keep my mine off things.
But great News! he left on Sunday got the Box Weds and his address same day! That was great! one week down 8more to go!
Hi, my son arrived at BC on the 23rd. Just received his box this afternoon. I don't have an address yet or anything. He called the night of the 23rd, so I knew he was okay. My first son went in three years ago, and I've just forgotten everything!! Just anxious to get an address and start sending mail. Oh, the waiting.... Would love to hear his voice.
I tried a few times last week and today, his mailbox is full!!! Not sure what to do now.
Just called him again and he answered! He said he'll get back to me within 45 minutes. Feel better now lol.
Just received all the info! I'm writing!!
I called his voicemail the other day just to hear his voice. But you can also always call mine, since he recorded my new voicemail before he left :)
I was just looking at his facebook page earlier, so I know what you mean. I dont care what anyone says they are still our babies!

Right Navy Moms!

Hi, we called his recruiter on Monday, and he was able to get it for us. Perhaps yours would also have the information available. Good Luck.
My daughter was three weeks one day in before i got her 20 minute call I had her address two days after. I got it from the recruiter. My son has been in almost 2 yrs. It kills not having contact. Both of my kids were sick within the first two weeks of boot camp though. But she is doing very well now. She started gettin mail after two weeks in. I hope this helps.
No box today and the recruiter still has no address!!!! Just want to move on to letters, calls, smiling and not feeling like I might cry any minute. So wonderful to be part of this website. You ladies ROCK!!!! Chad told me before he left that he would be in a 800 division because of doing Search and Rescue!!!! So still waiting. ;-)
My son Brandon got to bootcamp on March 1st and he will graduate on April 23rd GOD I get not what to see him, miss him sooooooooooo much.Still havent heard his voice however we talk in letters nonstop. Good luck,
Hi, My son left for Great Lakes on March 10. Got a quick at 12 midnight that he arrived. He also said it will be 3 weeks before he could call again. I got his cloths back soon after he arrived. I did get a letter from him saying he was okay and seemed very excited about the Navy. I can't wait to hear his voice.. It would be nice if he could call on Easter. I miss him, but am so proud of him.
