Found this site via television commercial. Glad to have a social network for Navy families.
Wow, I was cleaning out my laundry room and found the original magazine page that I tore out with the N4M ad on it! I think it was Women's Day from 2008!
One of the POs in our recruiter's office gave me the info for this site. I think he was feeling awkward for me because I kept crying! We were there nearly two hours and we asked a lot of questions and got a lot of great information. But I kept thinking about my baby being all grown up and I'm a crybaby anyway . . . so I think he thought I was nervous or, like, afraid of my son's decision to join. TOTALLY not it. I'm thrilled and proud! But I'm so glad he turned me on to the site!
Hello! I googled ocs graduation gift and stumbled across this wonderful site!
I found thissite when googling for something else. An awesome site!!! Just wish I knew of it 9 weeks ago as it would have helped me understand more of what my son-in-law is going through. He graduates in just a matter of days! I have shared this site with my daughter, his wife. It has helped her as well. Thanks to those who have taken time to do this it is much appreciated. I enjoy just reading and learning...mush more to learn=)
I discovered the N4M by TV advertising and also saw the ad in a magazine. I wish I discovered sooner. I joined last year in April. It would have been nice if I knew about this site during my son's boot camp and his A school. Thank you for this site. I have learned so much from other moms comments here. Also it is nice to able to post/share comments.
The best thing I could say to N4M's is Thank You!!!!!!. About one month ago my son told us he want to join the Navy and we took him to the recruiting office. When they gave him all the information I went to the internet to know a little bit more. Thats when I saw the site and since that it's on my computer every day 24/7. I've become an expert on everything related to the starting process thank to you. My son right now is waiting to leave for BC and I'm very nervous but very proud of him.

Thank you again you are a great site to inform and let out all the feelings you can't express in front of others.
I found you from Facebook. I really like this site and plan to use it
Hi, I'm Lisa and I found out about navy for mom's from my son's recruiter. Our son Chris leaves for Navy boot came on May 12; tomorrow we are having a going away BBQ party for him. I am both excited and sad about his leaving but I know it is for the best.

I was searching for rental car navy dicounts in google today and it returned it as a result. I wish it was listed in the form letter so that I could have joined earlier. Thank you so much, this is wonderful!
I found out about this site by doing a google search. I was searching for a family site for my husband's new ship, USS Gravely, and one of the results was a post from here. I still haven't found the family site, but I'm really glad I found this one.
I found you through Google. I love Google. HaHa.
