OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

YAY 27 minutes 36 seconds of pure Chris! He sounded great, has passed everything so far. He said boot camp was about what he expected. happy happy happy!
Me too!!!! He said it's the hardest thing he's ever done, but that he'll be fine as soon as he graduates. It was so good to hear his voice!!!
I got mine to :)
I got my phone call to. Sounds great..Says he got the folding down and the marching!! LOL Is looking forword to graduation and seeing everybody..Sure was great to her his voice!!
I got mine yesterday at 6:02pm! That was by far the best 27min 42 secs I've had in a long time...hearing his voice. I wish I could've recorded it, LOL! It took me by complete surprise! I answered and heard Hi Momma and my heart about jumped outta my chest! He sounded wonderful, says the food is amazing (hmm...what's that say about my cooking...lol) Glad for all that got their calls! And for those who haven't yet...hang in there, it's coming!! Talk to you all later!
I got my call too yesterday. So nice to hear his voice, although he sounded like he was getting a cold. Being the mom I reminded him to wash hands. He said he was doing fine, hasn't gotten yelled at directly and the PO's are pretty cool.
Hi ALL- my computer was got a virus- bu t I did get my call Sat night at 5:30- he could only talk 20mis or 30- he sounded so much better than his letter- Food is great, tired as hell and can start to finally fold! LOL -
OKAY OKAY I CAN STOP FREAKING OUT OVER THE PHONE CALL. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING DIV 224 HAD THREE RECURITS THAT DID NOT PASS THE TEST, THEREFORE, NONE COULD CALL HOME. CONGRATS TO DIV 814 FOR HAVING 100% PASS AND GET TO CALL HOME. IF THIS IS INCORRECT, PLEASE ADVISE.
each DIV is ran separately and 8XX DIV is ran differently as it is all special ops. you can not compare the divisions really. The DIV has to work as a team, pass the tests, before they can earn the phone time. I am not sure of 814 passed 100%, as there are many tests they take.

hope you get your phone call soon
CAKER'S MOM (SHIP 09 DIV 224) Where did you hear this ????
