Michele is the coordinator for the MO National Guard unit. She has been waiting until we were done with Ft Hood. WE are! whoohoo! awesome job ladies!

Michele said that this unit has never received packages as a unit.  Just individuals.  They said:

We would also appreciate any items you want to send us. We don't need any toiletries items however, we could use just about everything else. We actually have a room set up here and organized for our soldiers to utilize.

I know we would love any:
Snack foods, candy bars, chips, dips (obviously the kind that can be sent without refrigeration)
Snack cakes (hostess or little Debbie type cakes)
Ramen noodles
Cookies
Microwave popcorn
(any) Healthy snacks like protein bars, etc.
Boxes of bread mixes (we have a bread maker)
Vegetable Oil (for our bread maker)
Individual powdered drink mixes
Air Fresheners
Cleaning Wipes like Clorox wipes, Febreze

No need to send coffee, we have a ton of that from Starbucks, that is about all I can think of for now. We also have plenty of books and magazines. I think we could use some deodorants and soap, but like I said before no toothbrushes or toothpaste!

I really appreciate all that you are doing for us back home."

And just so you all know, this Unit is known as the "Houn Dawgs" (yes, I spelled that correctly). I haven't had time to look up their emblem, but I am sure that you can all figure out what types of PCs they would probably like!
I am going to mail flour and yeast, add water and salt and they have french bread.  I'll even include the recipe.   haha.  So I guess some bread machine mixes if anyone wants to do that.

Yes, we can do the 3 special pcs.  Granny will do.

Can mail anytime between 7-28 and 8-7.  Needs 436, 37 are female.

2 boxes with 30 pcs and some individual powdered drink mixes, mix of non chocolate candy, fruit roll ups, micro popcorn, and top ramen have been mailed.
I mailed my 20 pillowcases today as well! Filled the box with a some individuals soaps.
This pcs that I sent.

here are the pcs that Florence and Tammi mailed last week.

Got this email this morning:

Ray and Sue, I just wanted to send a quick email to let you know that we
have been getting all of the boxes you have sent. We all appreciate it
very much and I have to tell you that the pillowcases haven't lasted
long. My unit is leaving soon in a few weeks however, if you continue
to send packages the name of the unit that is replacing us it the 112th
EN BN, you can use the same address just change the unit name and for a
point of contact you can just put "Chaplain". We appreciate all of the
support and if you can let Michelle know as well we would appreciate it.
Just so you know there is a Navy Seabee (construction engineers) who
live in the same area as us and they have gotten pillowcases too!

Thanks again,

Jim and the 203rd Engineer Battalion (Missouri National Guard).
here are T's (Trouble on Fire) pillowcases:
