I got a call too. All is well!
Got a call this afternoon : ) I wasn't home but my daughter talked to my son. He was really tired and a bit discouraged. I think he's homesick a little too. Wish I could have talked to him but I think his sister was the best one to talk to today. She told him to suck it up. He only has one more month. He's halfway there : ) You gotta love those sisters (lol)
Hi Patty, my son Brian is ship 12 Div 354..I missed his phone call today, so sad..I still haven't heard from him :(
UGH, Donna...so sorry. I know how hard it has been. Today was the first I'd heard from Jonathan...Hang in there!!! HUGS!!!!
Oh, man, I think our crew is having a really hard time. Letter today says if they don't pull it together they are going back to day 1 and starting over. They won't graduate til next month or so....Jonathan sounded really down and discouraged. This was written Sunday and he called on Tuesday and two days later he was still discouraged plus they had to have the intensive training night...ugh..
My son said the same thing in his letter. He said they may have to have extra training so keep our schedules flexible. He said there were about 5 that couldn't get their laundry together in bags. He sounded pretty exasperated in his letter. I think the threat of extra training was to motivate them as well.
Jonathan mentioned something about 5 who didn't pass something or other on Monday night...I wonder if it's the same thing....anyway if so he said they did pass it Tuesday morning....
Gee, thanks, Kate...lol....as I was reading through the posts I began to have a little hope....until I read yours...that deflated the balloon....
Kate..No, no, not at all...That's why I put the lol cause I was chuckling to myself as I was typing...alls good

SeansDad...me too!!!
Hi everyone,
Who has made hotel reservations? If you have, can u let me(us) know where? I'm trying to decide and judging from posts on other groups it looks like sometimes groups try and stay at the same place or at least have a meet and greet the night before PIR at someone's hotel. Any ideas?
Our meet & greet is set for the Ramada...there's a group for that...Meet and Greet PIR 10/29. look on my page and under events it'll be listed...
My hubby is looking at the Quality Inn? We have not made any reservations yet....
I will be there!
