ok so theires alot of moms here who know what its like to be a huge pregnant person lol, i have been searching for something to wear to graduation and i need HELPP! everyone tells me "dont wear jeans it is disrespectful to your sailor after he did all that work he wants it to be special and dressy" well i decided i have the right to wear jeans cuz it is hard to find a dress or something else that makes me feel good and will make me look somewhat sexy for my fiance lol. so i am wondering 1.do u have any suggestions on what i should wear? i will be turning 7 months pregnant the day after graduation. 2.do you think if i just wear some nice jeans and a nice sweater "not hoodie" that it will be fine? GAHH this is harder then it should be lol

LOL, as a pregnant whale (it sure feels that way at 7 months) you are pretty much exempt from most rules, LOL. Just be warm and comfortable.

However, they do make maternity slacks and skirts, and dressy tops. Maybe you can find something at a secondhand shop? I don't know what your budget is, but I got a lot of dressy maternity stuff from JC Penney back in the day.

thank you(: and yes whale is exactly right! lol

and im pretty much just going to look everywhere ha so far no luck!

emlovee:  I totally agree with Arwen.  You can find nice jeans...I wore black ones that were nice for jeans...and a nice warm shirt....so comfort is #1 for you!  Trust me....your sailor won't care!  He wants to see YOU!
Instead of jeans can you find a pair of nice black slacks? That's what I plan to wear, because I can get my CuddleDuds on under them for warmth. Black slacks, sweater, scarf that can add color and be worn around neck or pulled over head/neck for warmth outside. Hope this helps, I'm all about simple.
TxNavyMom- I agree on the CuddleDuds, I live in Illinois, it is only 29 degrees at my house right now. COLD today. So I would expect it to be colder in GLs even in Feb. I too will be wearing casual dress clothes, although most in my party attending will have on nice jeans and dressy tops...lots of layers is the key. you can always take something off if you get to warm...:)
Go online and see if CuddlDuds has a line for pregnant women.  They are a feminine long john/thermals.  Penneys, Dillards, Sears all carry CuddlDud.  Layer up before leaving hotel to PIR, as Lexsmom stated, you can always unlayer.

doulak, here is what I will do. CuddlDuds first, whatever I am wearing over those, socks, warm shoes/boots, sweater, warm coat with our lovely bright yellow scarf of course. gloves too...once inside the coat and glove come off. If you are hot natured. wear a cooler shirt under a sweater, then you can remove the sweater if you get too warm.

Lexsmom, Can you post of picture of the scarf?  That way I can see the color.  I work p/t at a ladies boutique and might find something there.

These are some I made for my family to wear. Bright yellow / gold. If you want to add a ribbon color, check out the Scarves for PIR 2/11 discussion. There is a list of Div colors one mom came up with so we could have individual Division colors, but still have our Bright yellow N4Ms scarves so our SRs can see how we have been supporting their hard work at BC. those attending the Meet and Greet will be wearing the scarves to that event as well.

Thanks.
You are welcome! good luck on the scarf search!
