OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I've seen it happen, recruits who are sick or injured while in boot camp often finish their training while in Ship 5. Once they're done with training, there is no reason to put them in a division, so they are simply released to their A school.
I'm not sure why they don't let them attend PIR with another division (the one they go through Battlestations with), or at least let them sit in the audience, but that is the way the Navy does it.

Hi nicole... how is your boyfriend now? I hope he's better and finished bootcamp...
My sister was supposed to graduate 1-14-11 unfortunately 10 days prior to her graduation while finishing her PFA fun, her leg gave up on her. She broke her shinbone, she is just devastated. she stayed in the hospital for 24 days and sent back to the base on friday she's in ship 4 div 2341. So depressed and wants to give up. I just spoke with her on the phone today while at her doctor's appointment in the hospital. she just does not want to go back to RCU... She also said that a group of female just left yesterday and finished battle station...

I'm sorry to hear about your sister :/ I hope that she will get better and finish boot camp soon. It must have been really hard seeing the group of females leave. My boyfriend was in RCU too, but on Sunday I got a call from him that he is going to be sent home on medical discharge. He told me that his CK levels were high and his legs have been bothering him and now his arm is bothering him. I wonder when he will actually be sent home. He seems so down and sad but he is able to call every day.
