My son graduates 4/15/11. He has chosen his 4 allowed guests. I feel like I read somewhere other guests could come, but would have to watch the ceremony on a large screen TV at another location on base. Does anyone know if that is true and if so do they needed to be added to anyother list? Nicholas has a brother (very close), sister and a girlfriend of 5 years, and of course his parents. That alone leaves us short 1 ticket. His girlfriends mother, my parents, and one aunt are wanting to attend also. Shew that's alot of people, but each love him so much. Can anyone help me with this?

I'm curious too...we have more than 4 that would like to attend....even if they don't get a seat if they could be close by

Michelle,

This is what the US Navy Recruit Training Command replied to me on facebook:

U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command Only four guests per recruit can be listed on the guest access list. Guests not on the list must wait inside the visitors center until after the other guests have been seated. If additional seating is available, the additional guests will be allowed into the ceremony on a first-come, first-served basis as space permits.

Hope this helps!

Thanks have you already been thru the graduation? And if you had more guests did they get a seat?
Lemonelephant, I cannot see your post. Just today I went to your page then clicked the back arrow to my post and saw you had written what appeared to be a very informative. Can you please try to repost? Thank you so much!
Thank you for replying to me. I want to be as organized as I can when we arrive. When is your husbands PIR, and will you move with him when he finds out where he'll be stationed? Best of luck to you both. I almost feel like we're all a big happy Navy family!
If there is another sailor who is not using all of his 4 guests allocation, your sailor can ask him to put one of your extra guests on his list. No assignment on seats - your party can still sit together - of course, all other rules apply. check info on the PIR Reference Group. Click Groups tab - it's one of the featured groups.
