I am in this division! My boyfriend is part of this company!

Hi sjricker... Welcome aboard... lol

It's really exciting to connect with all of you ladies! How many of you are going to be at PIR?

I can't wait to go!

Hi sjricker...I am so curious about what they are doing.  I hope we get real letters next week.  Don't you all wonder how well they know each other already, and where are all the other Moms, wives & girlfriends.  I read on one of the other groups that the RDC called out the names of the kids who had someone on N4M I guess they want to make sure they are not telling us anything they shouldn't.  It looks like my son was one of the last into the division, he didn't arrive at GL until Monday 3/21.
counting the days to pir so excited i already booked my hotel lol

I am excited as well I was asking for advice on which hotel is nearest to the base ?

hi newnavymom11 i booked at springhill suites its 5 miles from base it looked nice and got real good reviews. 119 a night for 4 of us. alittle pricie but i"m driving (yikes 14 hours lol). i found it on hotel.com goodluck in your search

decarp thanks for the info...that is my goal for today is decide where to stay.  Not sure if we are driving or flying.
Thank you so much for the information, I was looking at the brochure that was in the letter they sent to us,there was one that states they are 1 mile away , I may check them and yours as well.  Will there be I heard there will be events on Thursday like a meet and greet have u heard about that ?

newnavymom11 i heard about the meet and greet i think its held at the ramada but not sure .

i"m driving in from mass.  so  i dont think i"ll make it  to the meet and greet  I"ll need sleep LOL

decarp how long will your drive from Mass be?  We keep tossing out the thought since there will be four of us flying.  My husband doesn't want to just because of how long it takes and we will then loose any time on Sunday we might have with our son.  Our daughter is in 11th grade and I really don't want her to miss three days of school I am trying to limit it to 2 days.  I was looking at Hotels last night where have people been making the reservations for.
We have booked rooms at the Residence Inn, the one bederoom suite option worked well for us.  Now trying to check into flights.  The hotel attendant recommended flying into Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee a 45 min drive but said the traffic was much easier to deal with.  So will be considering that option.
