Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

wondering if my SrR will have to do the gas chamber again,since he just got set back on Thurs to div 170...he has already dine gas chamber,he was hours away from battlestations...poor kid...sure he learned a valuable lesson.
So Everyone it looks like we have Battlestations Thursday Night!!!!!!!!
So exciting!  Will be praying for their strength, perserverance and great teamwork to get them all through this!
Thanks for letting us know!!  My whole church has been asking when it is and they all will be praying for them!  From everything my son says they have become a geat team.  I know they will do great! 
The only reason I know is because someone whose husband in 169 got the info and we go when 169 goes.  I am just happy to know.  God Bless them all!

No Battlestations until Monday:( The wait is killing me.

I hear you! My SR is also Monday Div 171. However, I did get a letter from her today :-) - Its been almost 2 weeks. But I did get a call last week. Said they are doing lot of studying, non-stop inspection and marching drills. Nice weather. Sz she saw families last Friday outside of drill hall fantisizing in 2 weeks it will be them. I want to tell her I have been looking at pictures on FB, and talking to people her, also fanisizing. Said they are in middle of firefighting, and gas chamber was on Tuesday.

 

DIV 170 ARE MAKING CALLS !!! JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY SON SAID THEY DID VERY GOOD ON THERE TESTS .  WHAT A NICE MOTHERS DAY GIFT !!!

I HOPE 171 gets to make calls too!  They are brother div!  Keeping my fingers & toes cross!  That would be a great Mothers Day Gift! 

 

I got my call as well! Battle stations is definitely Monday. It sounds like our boys have become quite a successful team! It won't be long now!

That phone call yesterday was the best gift and the fact that it was a reward call made it even sweeter!
