Thank you so much !! I appreciate it !!
The mail is ridiculously slow! I got 2 letters yesterday, one dated 5/5 the other 5/10, arrived the same day! And in the first one he said he had just received a letter from me where I said I hadn't received any letters from him!!! That was probably about 20 letters ago!!!
Yes mine too.  I just got letters from 5-10 and 5-11 yesterday 5-18, She was saying that she has not gotten anything from me in a while, and I am sending letters daily. (from PA was taking only 2-3 days at first)
Glad to hear mail is running Slow ... I haven't recieved anything this week... I so dislike their mail system !!! But we are on the 14 day countdown can't wait for graduation and see our daughter !!!
You ladies sure got quiet!  11 days left...............time to get crazy excited!!!
I am definitely crazy excited and yes, you're right, this discussion is waaaayy too quiet!!! It's amazing this time has passed as it did.....so much thanks to this site!! I'm so sorry we will not be meeting you on 6/3, you have been a wonderful support person on here! How is your daughter doing?? Your time is nearing as well!!!
Lets hope we can fight a war better than we can deliver mail.
Isn't the mail crazy slow and mixed up!!!
She is doing great....after the injury I have mixed feelings about getting a phone call.  I want to talk to her but I also know no call is ALWAYS good news!  She sounds happy and upbeat!  It was real hard on her for a while...but I know thats the idea.  They have to weed them out!  See who will sink or swim..haha.  The mail is a hot mess!!!  Sher was in tears over not getting mail and I had sent it daily!  Are you getting mail from you SR?  My time is getting close as well.  Have your SR's taken the final PFA?  BS will be very soon for you!!!!!!!!!!    Final PFA for my daughter is Friday I think.  I can't wait not to get a call until its the I'm a sailor call!!!  I'll be staying @ the Ramada the week after you all!  Send me pics... 4079084410! Can't wait to see your SR's in the PIR pics!!!  I feel closer to them thatn the ones in my own PIR date.
They must all swim!!! Haha I've gotten a decent amount of mail from my SR. He has also written to both of his brothers, his father, his uncles and grandparents!! I have enjoyed hearing everyone's letter!! He alsomsounds very upbeat and just sounds so good!! It's so good to hear! I believe all tests have been passed at this point!! He called his father a few nights ago and said other than BS, they are really winding down! I did get some upsetting news though.....he said he got his orders. He is going somewhere clear across the world that I am not happy with....for two years!!!!!!!! I don't know if I'm allowed to mention specifics here. It was just such a blow to me to hear that I was up most of that night crying and ended up calling out of work with a migraine!!!!
Hopefully he is not as upset as I am, and my guess is he is not. I tend to over-react and get very emotional.....as long as he doesn't know this, I guess it's ok!! My SR said his BS is this Tuesday, but the list says it's we'd, so I'm not sure!! I don't know if he is calling his father or me and I work Wednesday and off Thursday.......so.....hope if I get the call, I don't miss it!! I am very excited that we go to PIR next week!!! I am staying at LaQuinta, seems like there are a few of us N4M's staying there!! I have Lala's ribbons and the division T-shirts......so I think we're ready to go!!! I will try to remember to send you a picture from the Meet and Greet!!! We will miss you, but you will be right on our heels!!! Glad your SR is doing so well and seems to have picked up right where she left off!!! Swim she will!!!
I'll keep him in my prayers!  I'm sure he will be just fine where ever he ends up!  I can imagine how you feel.  My husband spent 2.5 years driving outside the wire in Iraq!  Made me crazy!  I lived with a phone in my hand.

Tiffsmom....I feel for you....been there once already with my oldest.  My prayers are with you.  You can let us know where he is going in a message.  By the way is your son 07/187....I know stupid question...since you are posting here.
