My nephew is in this group of marines (stands for Combat Logistics Battalion) and they will be deployed soon.

The total number needed 700:  36 females, 664 males.

We will be mailing in waves to the different companies.  Once I get the breakdown of numbersby company, we will decide on the mailing dates.   At this point in time, it looks like we will start in late August with a very small possibility of a late July mailing.

Watch for further details.  And ladies, "start your machines".

Ok This is the suggested ship schedule.  Let me know what you think, how many you can help with.  Thanks!!

A company 152 male- 6 female  ship date 8-10 thru 8-13

B company 154 male-  5 female    ship date 8-31 thru 9-3

ENGR Co 134 male-  8 female   ship date 9-21 thru 9-24

HQ 239  male-  19 female  ship date 10-5 thru 10-8

My 20 went off in the mail today. I'm hoping to be able to show you a picture of the pcs but my computer is being a real pain. I'll see if I can get my husband to figure it out.

very nice..These are really awesome looking  cases. I bet they are  going to love them. nice job
they are beautiful Birdie!
Thanks Sue!

I will try and get 20 mailed by the end of August, will be out of town again all next week. Can you send me the address as to where to ship? Do we have special labels/cards for the pcs for this group that need to be included? I just sent one for a Marine who is shipping out soon (3rd deployment)... I sent it to his Mother-in-love with a laundry pen... at his going away party the guests are going to write scriptures, blessings, messages, etc. on it and draw the hands of his three little daughters on it. If I get a photo I will post it here too.  This is what it looks like... Nic is a believer and I made his MIL a Wordless Quilt last year, so I made him a Wordless Pillowcase!

that is really cool quilt!  I would love to see it once people write and draw on it.

I'll email the address when it is time to mail.  Let us know for sure about the mailing.  It is from 8-31 to 9-3.

I got my 66 pcs out for the A company last night and they will be mailed today.  I'll post my photo later-have to take it first haha.

got my 66 in the mail today, so "A" company is finished.  On to "B" company.  Let us know if you can send some!

Ok-My 27 went in the mail yesterday.  Had a yardsale for the group I sing with so never got on here to announce.  Matt's Mom will have 17 for the next mailing.  Maybe a few more from friends.  She has to ship on the 30th but I don't thnk that will be a problem.

Love the pillowcase and the idea of everyone signing it!

Thanks to all who helped with the first wave.

good news.  and that's not a problem.  and that's why we do a mailing range.
