My nephew is in this group of marines (stands for Combat Logistics Battalion) and they will be deployed soon.

The total number needed 700:  36 females, 664 males.

We will be mailing in waves to the different companies.  Once I get the breakdown of numbersby company, we will decide on the mailing dates.   At this point in time, it looks like we will start in late August with a very small possibility of a late July mailing.

Watch for further details.  And ladies, "start your machines".

Ok This is the suggested ship schedule.  Let me know what you think, how many you can help with.  Thanks!!

A company 152 male- 6 female  ship date 8-10 thru 8-13

B company 154 male-  5 female    ship date 8-31 thru 9-3

ENGR Co 134 male-  8 female   ship date 9-21 thru 9-24

HQ 239  male-  19 female  ship date 10-5 thru 10-8

I will email you the address Cindy.
Thanks Sue.

will hold my 20 for HQ then.  no problem.

I like the idea of the heart in the box!  cute!  i'm excited to get some and try them out!  Thanks!

let us know how they work.  have wanted to do a label for a long time, but just don't do it.
Thanks Natalie!
Terry got her 30 mailed the other day, so B company is done!  On to the Engr Co now.
Made and washed a pc with the label in it! It works wonderful! Not sure that it even needs to be sewn down! So excited that it washes up so well.  I usually wash all of my material before making pcs, but it came out of the dryer so wonderful, I might have to start washing them again before mailing... no, wait... then I would have to iron them so they would be pretty again. Nope... :o)  Told my husband he can "use" one of the pcs, so we can see how the label holds up over time.  These are so much easier to do than hand writing all those ribbon labels! Hahahaha...
I was looking for your labels online and did read a comment by someone that other time the corners come loose.  So it may be best to sew them in.  Thanks for playing for us!

Has anyone received a reply from anyone in this unit? Do we know if the chaplain has started passing these pc's out?

Thanks,

Birdie

Birdie-We had a few from the first shipment. I haven't heard of any from the second shipment.  Maybe I will see if my sister can find out anything for us.

Joy

I think some have come thru the bellsouth email address.  Dori sends them to me, but I would have to go back and look.

ME or Dori, do you remember seeing any from the Marines?

Ladies on phase 3-Engr Co. How are we doing?  Please let me know when you ship. Remember all shipments go to the same address. Thanks,

Joy
