Thank you! Do you know if we are only able to have 4 people come to graduation?

Just to clarify what lemonelephant means.  For your daughter, it won't extend the time at boot camp.  However, if you happened to be in the PIR that falls between Christmas and New Years, then it could extend it.

For example, last year TG 06 graduated Dec 22nd, the next TG 07 graduated Jan 7th.,  The ones that were suppose to graduate Dec 31st are usually moved to Jan 7th.

fyi:  If you happen to be in the Christmas group (ie the last group to graduate before Christmas, you get to go home on leave.

You concur with that lemonelephant?

lemonelephant -  Thanks, I didn't know if things changed or not.  My son was in the Christmas PIR group.  After battle stations and just 2 days before PIR, half of his division was AMOS'd because they were caught goofing off.  That meant that most of their PIR was the 1st week of Jan instead.

What a wake up call these sailors had, knowing that their family was already on their way to Great Lakes, only to learn that their sailor would not be graduating.  It's a life long lesson not to goof off in boot camp.  But then again, that's what us guys do....
