My nephew is in this group of marines (stands for Combat Logistics Battalion) and they will be deployed soon.

The total number needed 700:  36 females, 664 males.

We will be mailing in waves to the different companies.  Once I get the breakdown of numbersby company, we will decide on the mailing dates.   At this point in time, it looks like we will start in late August with a very small possibility of a late July mailing.

Watch for further details.  And ladies, "start your machines".

Ok This is the suggested ship schedule.  Let me know what you think, how many you can help with.  Thanks!!

A company 152 male- 6 female  ship date 8-10 thru 8-13

B company 154 male-  5 female    ship date 8-31 thru 9-3

ENGR Co 134 male-  8 female   ship date 9-21 thru 9-24

HQ 239  male-  19 female  ship date 10-5 thru 10-8

I am starting them this week -- but I will probably not be ready to ship until the 8th.  Hope that's ok -- Annie
oops looks like I responded for the wrong batch!
I will mail mine on Friday or Saturday once I know that everyone else has mailed.  I wait until the end just in case I have to send more.

Thanks Sue!  I am really glad I was able to not send for this batch.  I am in charge of the Junior Chorus  (3rd, 4th & 5th graders) for the choral group I sing with.  We invite the kids to join us for our Christmas concert in December.  The first 3 weeks of September is when I have to get permission to hand out our flyer at the schools, get the flyers printed, deliver them to 5 school districts elementary buildings, and then field all the calls for more information, handle the parent's meeting and the registration for the kids and get rehearsals going.  Should be under control this weekend and then I can sew again!!!  Yeah!!

Son and DIL are coming home for a few days.  I have asked her to help me make some sense of all the fabric I have accumulated!!  It is all over my basement-which is a finished basement looks like a yard sale of fabric!!  She is an artist and so has some of that color sense that should help.

glad that worked out for you m's mom.  Have fun with your son and DIL!
I sent 25 pcs today for the ENGR Co.
m'smom and Sue, Terry and I are working on the group for October, We need to know if you need just males or both. I have 20 ready but most of them are females.
Maryellen, I'm handling the females for the Oct. group. They are already packed and ready to mail out next week.
ok good to know thanks

I mailed my 38 out today.   Diane mailed her 30 yesterday.   Birdie, and Lyn did you get yours mailed?

Cindy, your pcs look great and a wonderful photo. I take terrible photos sometimes.  Looks clear on the camera but not so when I download.

And I actually made one in this photo!

Mine are due to be mailed out in Oct. So, they will go out into the mail next Friday. I'm hoping it will stop raining by then. I actually think we're all growing webbed feet.
oops, I guess I goofed.  I had you down for 20 for the ENGR unit.  I'll send them, no worries.  Birdie, did you get your 25 mailed?
