My nephew is in this group of marines (stands for Combat Logistics Battalion) and they will be deployed soon.
The total number needed 700: 36 females, 664 males.
We will be mailing in waves to the different companies. Once I get the breakdown of numbersby company, we will decide on the mailing dates. At this point in time, it looks like we will start in late August with a very small possibility of a late July mailing.
Watch for further details. And ladies, "start your machines".
Ok This is the suggested ship schedule. Let me know what you think, how many you can help with. Thanks!!
A company 152 male- 6 female ship date 8-10 thru 8-13
B company 154 male- 5 female ship date 8-31 thru 9-3
ENGR Co 134 male- 8 female ship date 9-21 thru 9-24
HQ 239 male- 19 female ship date 10-5 thru 10-8

Ladies - I am beside myself, and I hope someone can help.
I have completed 13 of my 20 PCs for this group, and bought a bunch of snacks to include. There is something wrong w/ my sewing machine - I got 3/4 of one PC done this morning and then it started clicking and flashing safety lights. The threads got all jammed up and it broke my zigzag foot. I've been at this all day -- cleared out the jams, rewinding bobbins, replaced needle, etc. with no luck. My husband is trying to figure out what's wrong with it, but at this point, I think I need professional help to get it fixed. Based on what the manual says, the part that holds the bobbin may be scratched and will have to be replaced. :(
I am so sorry to have to ask, but are there an extra 7 PCs out there to make up the difference for me?
Hi Ladies - Sue answered the SOS (Save Our Seamstress) call -- Thanks so much Sue!
Can't tell you how much I appreciate it -- Annie
I love that Annie-save our seamstress. I'm going to use that haha.
Yes, no problem I'll mail the other 7 pcs.
Diane has mailed her 30 pcs on 10-4. here's a photo of most of them:
I love to see all the color combos. Please let us know when you have mailed. I and 2 other are not mailing until Monday. Actually, I bet it will be Tuesday cause Monday is the Columbus day holiday for many. I know UPS is open, but don't think USPS is.
