I'm a mom with a son who left home Oct. 3rd, to Anchorage, leaving Oct. 4th to GL. Got my phone call from him on Oct. 5th. Haven't received anything here in Alaska. Hope to bring my 11 yr old to PIR, whenever that may be, hope we can get some airline tix that aren't way out there. This is all new to me, hoping for the best experience for my son.
I have had a lot of moms on here tell me the PIR for them will most likely be the Wed before Thanksgiving. I am hoping for the folowing week! As that would be a very busy time to travel!~
And that is a LONG way for you to come :) I hope we can meet if our sailors PIR together. I hear the Ramada Inn is a nice place to stay :)
