Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

Hi Hillary!  I hope they do...my son was a bit concerned about being the oldest amongst the young recruits.  I hope there are more and they can find a common ground!

Hi Hilary... just found out our sons have connected!  They're pretty good buddies already!  Just got off the phone with my SR.  I missed the first call cuz I didn't recognize the area code (847) !  Watch for it!!!!  I never felt 20 minutes go so fast.  He sounds good tho... has had a lot of dental work and cold/flu symptoms, but toughin' it out.  They're kept busy all the time and really appreciate their quiet time.  Asked him what he wanted to do on Liberty ... He's looking forward to a hot shower until the water runs out!  And a Pizza from Uno's!!  OMG... so happy to hear his voice.  Praying everyone hears from their SR soon!

Hi Michelle...I talked my SR yesterday and he said the same!  Apparently they even have the same middle names!  It was so good to be able to hear his voice and be able to tell that he was ok.  He said that it got better every day.  My SR doesn't know about his Liberty because he stays in Great Lakes for "A" school but he knows the family will be there til Monday and he's calling the shots!  Can't wait to actually see him!!!

No call today, no personal letter yet.  I guess that is just more to look forward to this week.

Will be booking flights and looking into hotels for PIR this week.  Any thoughts about our divisions loved ones wearing a specific color of scarf so we can recognize each other?  I read about it somewhere on here.  Reminds me I need to order some of the ribbons this week too.

Sip 03 DIV 070 graduation date is Feb 17th correct? Just want to double confirm, because I received the wrong grad date in the form letter. Also- for those attending the PIR, like myself, will we be able to wear badges identifying our division?

I am attending the meet and greet at the Ramada Inn ;)

Yes, we got a graduation date of Feb 17.  I'm not sure about badges, It is all new to me.  I know someone on the site makes ribbons with the division number and the recruits name.  She said she sells them for the cost of materials.  I am planning to get some.  I just have to remember where I read about it.  I have been reading and watching everything I can about basic and PIR.  I think I will be attending the meet and greet and the Ramada Inn also.  Not sure where I will be staying.

thanks Connie:) Okay- I would like to buy one of these ribbons! when you find out where you read about it can you please reply to this so I can find out?

I just talked to my boss, and he is going to take it to upper management about me having the 16th and the 17th off work...fingers crossed....

Raeinaz- ill do better than that! Praying that Gods will be done however it works out! Keep us posted. :))

Thanks Victoria....nothing back today...he said give him a day or two...but I may not have to wait for them to decide on this...I have been having problems with my shoulder and had an MRI on it last week when I was off on vacation...and i got the results today..torn rotator cuff...mmmm, dont even know how that happened...so I have an appt to see surgeon in 2 weeks...I may be off work anyway during that time because of my shoulder who knows now....now another wait and see on this...oh my...everything works out like its suppose to...

Hey guys! I found the lady that is making the ribbons for div 070 feb 17th grad date! She is doing all the divisions. I'm having one made for myself, my daughter, and my SR Angelo. Here is the info. I'm paying for it thru PayPal when I get home and I can't wait for it to be shipped to me. I'll be wearing it proudly on my trip!!!
