Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

I can't wait for mail today.  I have another letter coming from him.  It must be packed full because there was $0.20 postage due so they just left a card in my mailbox.  I am sure it is from him because the letter I got Friday referred to things he had not sent.

Hi everyone, sorry to report that I will be leaving this forum.  My SR was having trouble with a portion of his swimming test and is changing divisions. He now has a PIR date of 2/24. Thanks to everyone and congrats on the progress of all of the SR's. God bless!

take care and let us know how your SR is doing...

So sorry he is set back.  I know it is heartbreaking for you to have to delay seeing him.  I trust it is for the best and good things will come.

Too bad, I really wanted that photo:( Next time!!!!  @Regmcole Thanks and God Bless

The answer was hard to find today...:( I think I did not get my answer in till # 17

I could not find the answer today.  It would be nice to get it the when they get their caps.  (Looking at the positive side of not winning this week.)

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone. Christina pointed out no PIR on 2/24 so that means it may be two weeks. It is all going to work out the way it's supposed to so we are just mildly dejected. Thanks again to all!

Got another letter today.  He enjoyed Marlinespike.  He said the DIV is still having some trouble working together but his "group  had 0 hits and did everything right on the first try."  Very proud of them.  I hope everyone is working well together by the time they do battlestations.  It looks like he passed his run this time. :)

I got just a short letter yesterday....:(....My SR said he did not get any letters from me last week, so I am glad his dad and brother wrote and he got those letters....still trying to figure out were my letters went.....He said Marlinespike was ok, but there were to many arguments....that he passed his PI/WTI as well as his PFA......I agree Connie....I hope they start working well together by the time they do battlestations:)

I forgot.  I had to laugh out loud at his sisters letter.Apparently someone sent their SR funny pics, etc. and he sent one to her.  She is a vegetarian and he teases her frequently.  He sent a picture of an orange calling a glass of juice Mom and the caption below it says something about fruit being needlessly killed each year by vegetarians.  She swore I put it in there.

It was perfect. If one of you sent it to your SR, thank you.

Wow, quiet weekend on here.  I hope you have all had a good one and our SR's have enjoyed the holiday routine.  I am sure they have another busy week scheduled.
