Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

I also received a letter last wednesday. Hope they can get it together for battle stations. Son passed all the required tests. He said it was like video games. Knew that was good for something ;) after he graduates I need to tell him that his grandfather, my daddy, passed away on jan 26th at 1:05pm in my home with hospice. He is with Jesus in Gods kingdom now and I know we will see him again! We did his memorial today, very precious. My father is so proud of his grandchildren. Hope we can still print out gate passes on the 5th of feb, hope we still have feb 17th grad date.

Victoria, i am sorry to hear about your Father....I have been thinking about you and have noticed you have no posted anything since you said he was not doing well....PIR will be such a proud day for you....then you will have to tell him this...:(.....I know our Sr's will get this together for battlestations....

So sorry to hear about your father.  It is good to hear you know he is at peace and with the Lord.  Know as you tell your SR you have had our prayers for comfort for your family and SR.

Hello, our SR was just rolled back to this PIR, 03/070  WE WILL NEED SOME SUPPORT QUICK!  Goodnight for now, but I will be checking tomorrow for some encouraging words please!

MamaBear-at times like these lean on your faith. Remember...God's delay is not His deny. God has plans to give your SR a prosperous future. When your SR graduates, it will be no less exciting and wonderful, than if it had been on the 17th of February. He will get through this. My prayers are with him and you. God's Blessings!

MamaBear-I meant that your SRs PIR will be just as exciting and wonderful as if it was his original date. Hang in there.

Thank you sooo much for such a quick and encouraging response... YES, God is my source.  My son has really become serious about his faith, If I couldn't pray for him I don't know how I could cope knowing how difficult their testing is!  He has been sick for a very long time, missed a training on something... we pray he can make it up and rejoin his group (04/805  PIR 02/10) but perhaps he is already making good and wonderful friendships with all this groups SR's!  Time for me to make some new friends!

yes: Trust. Those that believe God and wait upon the Lord, He will renew their strength, He will mount them up on the wings of eagles, they shall run not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint!

 :)

My SR mentioned 2 new comers said they are "pretty cool" and one introduced the div to the best navy boot camp dessert, cottage cheese, frosted flakes & honey! lol.  sound like they r making friends fast!

bbbbug, I wish it was easier to figure out who knows who, whos talking to who!  It will be nice to meet everyone from this division (who chat and support) at the PIR 02/17!

Welcome MamaBear.  Sorry he was delayed.  For us 18 days is coming faster but I know it is heartbreaking to have to wait that long when you thought it would be sooner.  I pray that our DIV accepts him quickly and he has an easy time adapting from now to PIR.  I will also pray for comfort for you.
