Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

Hey new group!  Can someone tell me the color of scarves for PIR 2/17 for our ship 03/ Div 070?  I had sky blue from our other group before I was rolled back, so I need to get my new scarves going quick!

Green and or White.....:)

I got my letter today...It looks like they are letting them write more often, but still only sending the letters out once a week...But the way he talks you would think these boys are black and blue with the "beatdowns" they get....He says they are daily...He said "The Division is getting better at things. I don't know if its because of the beatdowns or not, but as long as we get better then is okay. The weird thing is that we are in he running for the top Division"......YEAH for 070...

For the first time He mentions some guys that he has gotten to be friends with.....mmm...now to figure out who their moms are....LOL

Hope everyone gets their letters today and tomorrow !!!

Praise God!!!!!!!!!!! my son's name is Angelo Lujan :)

Thank you so much for the info, from what my SR says it seemed like they were not doing very well as group, this made my day!

Hi everyone!

My letter today said they are in the top 3 divisions and if they are the top 1 they get an extra hour liberty after PIR.  He also said Battle Stations is 2/8 and they should get both phone and computer privileges on 2/9.  Tear gas chamber is tomorrow so be praying for our SR's!!

Father God, We come before you as humbly as we can. We ask you in the name of Jesus to help our SR's in their division to work together on one accord so that they may become the Top 1, if it be your will Lord. We want that extra precious hour of liberty time with our loved ones. We pray for all the divisions and the time that they spend with their loved ones to be blessed regardless who ever gets that extra hour Lord. We also ask you father, to help them do great during battle stations, so we can keep the grad date of feb 17th. We also ask you Lord to cover them while they go through the tear gas portion of their testing in Jesus name. Thank you for the phone and computer privileges on 2/9. We thank you for everything and know that all blessings flow through you and that you are a good God. We love you Lord and all the honor and glory goes to you by all things, through all things, and with all things, in your precious son's name Jesus, our deliverer. Amen.

We got a letter today.  It was a little different.  He sounds a little down but gave more info.  I think it was written at the end of hell week so maybe he was just exhausted.  He said our DIV is in the top 3 of the training group and they are aiming for number 1 so they can get an extra hour of liberty.-Yeah!  They have all the available flags so far except captains cup and for final divisional score.-We can be extra proud.  Said they are still getting "Beat" a lot.  Said maybe he will become buff.  So it looks like we are all getting the same info.

It will not be long now.

If this makes anyone feel better...Yes, they seem to be getting a LOT of beatdowns, but my SR said this...I think my RDC overall is pretty cool, he yells a lot, but he does seem to like us....I think that says a lot coming from a 19 year old who is not use to being yelled at....:)

I'm so excited for graduation getting pretty close now!  Trying to pick out graduation gifts, thinking a top of the line electric razor ( i know my SR hates the daily shaving).  Any ideas???

We were talking last night about gifts...I really want to get him something special, that we can engrave with the date, yet small that he will always be able to have with him...still cannot figure it out....

im gonna give my boy a scuba diver's watch that my dad wanted to give him in person for graduation but passed away and Im gonna give him my father's gold cross men's necklace that i have around my neck. :) these gifts will mean alot to him :)

oh....did you get a ribbon made with the PIR date on them?
