Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

Hi friends of 03/070!  We are on a countdown of 13 days to PIR!  Lets rally here as often as possible to share and support, I sure need it!  I am still trying to sort out the scarf color for our division, have a message in to lala's ribbons, she had a list of colors for my last division before we were rolled back, so I want to see WHAT color of green, and/or white we are wearing to show our unity and show up in the crowd at graduation for our SR's to spot!  We are staying at the Navy Lodge and I am thinking about Sarges "Meet and Greet" for Thursday night  :)  Don't forget to get your blue candles ready to burn during Battle Stations!

i have the blue and silver writing on the div 070 ribbons- i got it like a month ago :) The ribbon has my SR name on their and the division number. from lala's ribbons..... will it be snowing that week? im going to be at the ramada inn :) meet and greet

I have not heard much discussion about scarves?  In my last PIR group, every division had a color of scarf they decided on (With lala's help!) to unite us at graduation, as well as our SR's being able to pick us out in that HUGE crown at graduation!  So far I have heard in this 03/070 our scarves are going to be green, and or white, so I may make a fleece reversible if I can't get it figured out soon!  I have a message in to lala in case she has the big list of division colors that have been picked for these scarves.  Just a long piece of cut fleece from a fabric store works fine, and some may sew or glue anchors on them, lala also makes them, but maybe not enough time?...  I just want to get an idea of what color of green!  Bright, dark, kelly?  Ha ha!

I ordered the same ribbons. :)  On the facebook page for our DIV is where they were talking about scarves and came up with green and white.  After I had not gotten a response to questions about scarf colors I ordered white with blue anchors from  Lala as that is what the teen girls going with me liked most. (We thought it would look nice with the ribbons and his uniform.)  Since I had already ordered and a couple liked the look of white but several wanted green as we thought nobody else would choose it, we decded to go with both.  (I am planning on attempting to incorperate green after I get the scarves. Iknow someone from Michigan State Univ. was saying her school color, That may help with the shade of green.

I am working nights this week and have hit 56 hours already with ver little sleep,  I appologize if this is rambling without making sense.-:)  I will be so glad when my version of hell week is over.

YAY!!!!

its got the flag on it too to represent past military service from my dad who was in air force. She did a great job on them, easy to pin to a jacket or shirt and very visible :) anchor too....shiny...

that explains a lot to me lol, you guys have 2 colors to choose from :-)

I want to order some!

yay! I cant wait lady!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just happy to find a pretty green scarf the other day, so a grab one for me and my niece who will be going with us...I never gave it a thought on what color of green...We are staying at Hilton Homewood Suites..I think it's like 10 miles from the base..and we are going to go to Sarge's meet and greet Thursday night, so hope to meet you all there....

Please, what is the Blue Candles for BattleStations?

its a group you can join on here- lighting blue candles for our sailors...I have them in prayer everyday seeking the Lord out morning and night for them. Alot of us are doing the ramada inn so maybe i can meet you guys at the PIR. God Bless you.

I have the blue candle thingy on my page too.

The blue candle thing was commented on the general PIR 02/17/12 page just a bit ago... a tradition to light it and keep it burning through the night during Battle Stations in support of the SRs!  Those of us who pray will be praying!  We love those SR's!  (Check out Battle Station links)  they go from 8 p.m. at night to 8 a.m. and have a capping ceremony in the morning where they are congratulated by their commander (He may smile for the first time and say he is proud while he shakes their hand?!) and then they call home to say "I'M A SAILOR"!!!!!  I want to find a link to post here I saw of a capping ceremony... stay tuned!  If you know this already, thanks for letting me write it out, it did my heart good!
