Looking forward to getting to know those who are in my son's division.  He is 19 and will be a NUKE.  I am so proud of him.

hey moms! we can print our gate passes through internet starting feb 5th- FYI if your driving on base with rental car or whatever :)

Does anyone know if there is there a Nuke specific meet and greet? While I know a lot (have been doing lots of research) about what nuke school will be like once its started, I haven't found anything about what it will be like for my SR when he first arrives in Goose Creek and the first couple weeks while he waits for his class to have enough numbers to get started (if that is the case).  I am sure my SR would love to know if when he gets off the plane how soon before he gets some sleep time and time to get settled in.  If anyone has any info about what initially happens when my SR arrives in Goose Creek please let me know!

Hi bbbbug, maybe FireTeamLeaderWife (on the boot camp group with a snoopy icon) can give you some direction and links... Are you already a part of the Nuke group?

COUNTDOWN: 13 DAYS!!!!!!!!      OUR BIG DAY TO SEE THAT SPECIAL SR WE LOVE IS COMING so quickly now!  Today I hope to pick up green (and white, ha ha!) fleece for scarves, and a big blue candle to burn in a few short days, through the night during Battle Stations...

Questions... do all of you also check in on the general PIR 02/17 page?  I hope so, we will all be in the same place at the same time soon!  And do any of you know of a facebook page for either our PIR  02/17 group, or our division group 03/070?  Please send me a private message if you have that info.  And one more question,  Do any of you have an SR in this division (03/070) who was rolled back from the PIR 02/10 from 04/805?  My son was rolled back and it has been so sad, but I understand that more than half of the division (805 is SEAL) has been moved or sent home? He is no doubt making friends with your SR's, he is a very compassionate leader and will do all it takes to help himself fit in and unify their team.  Ask your SR's when they call please how MamaBear's son is doing... the keyword here is "Bear". Thanks new family.

I know your SR is fitting in just great with our guys...I have already ask about him in my letters...

Oh yeah!  The 2 Mesa boys!  Thanks for mentioning him in your letter!  We know that could take a while to get an answer!  We will be there before that might happen!

I check in on the main page and sent a message with the facebook page.

My scarves and ribbons came in. they are beautiful.  I am so excited.

Thanks so much  :)  I just checked it out.  More mention of green scarves!

PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  I am looking forward to my last letter from Great Lakes.  I will leave for Chicago before mail arrives next week.  I can hardly believe it is that close.

COUNTDOWN: 11 days, yep!  I am looking forward to meeting some of you regulars on this site, I appreciate the support so very much.  Yes, have a wonderful day.  Hey, we may have to use the facebook forum for any Battle Station vigil comments, I want to make sure we follow rules and keep our SR's safe!  Wear Green scarves to let our SR's see us in the crowd!  If you have another color already wear a green bow or hat or something!  And be sure to tell them when they call to look for us!
