My son in Nuke and arrived March 1 at Boot camp. It is so confusing and overwhelming trying to figure it all out. Just letting you know you are not alone! We are waiting for his form letter telling us his division so I can mail him letters!
Hi Deke,
My son left for BC on March 7th, and is also heading for the nuke program. There is so much information out there, but I am with you. I just can't wait for the letter letting me know what ship/div. etc he is assoicated with. I have read that sometimes you can contact the recruiter and they may have tha info already. Not sure, but I am getitng anxious enough to check..lol....they will be ok deke...this whole thing is a very long process, so just sit back and enjoy the ride on this wonderful journey with him. I watch the boot camp videos on this website when I need to calm my nerves. For some reason, it helps.....He will also be able to speak with you more about the nuke stuff when he graduates BC, so you won't be as much in the dark about that program as we are right now.....Praying for you and your son....Smile, n' take care!
