Hello how are you. I have not received any letters yet from him but I was told this is is official ship and div.

Hi!  I haven't received the formal letter yet either.  This is what his recruiter had looked up for me!  Love this group and the ability to talk to people with the same situations and the fact that we will already "kind of " know each other before we meet at PIR!  Welcome aboard!

Hi Everyone:

I just received my son's info from his recruiter and he is with Ship 11 Division 155.  His recruiter was not able to tellme his PIR date, but it appears from the posts here that it will be 5/18/12.  I cannot wait to see him again.  I'm glad I'm able to chat with others going through the same thing!

Hi Ladies!  Talked to my son's recruiter again today!  She told me that I definitely have the right ship and div and that his PIR is on May 18.  So even though I don't have the formal letter yet.  That's where all my plans will be going.  How are you doing during this time.  I have many "aha" moments.  Like last night I was out to dinner with my husband and said "I should text Kyle and tell him we are on our way home"  Aha!  He's not there!  lol!  Oh well!  Time is flying past!  Can't believe they are getting ready to start into their 3rd week away!  and with my oldest daughter's wedding coming up in July and her graduation from University in May - I have lots to help occupy my mind!

Hi Ladies!  Is there any of us from ship 11 div 155 that has received their formal letter yet?  I haven't got mine yet - but was in touch with recruiter again yesterday and verified that my sr is in ship 11/ div 155 - pir 05/18/12 - who knows?

Yes, I received my formal letter yesterday, April 2, 2012.  PIR date is 5/18/12!  :)

Hi!  Finally got my letter today!  It was soo good to see his handwriting.  It is much neater than it used to be!  lol!  He didn't add a note on to it - I would have been shocked if he had!  All the info that the recruiter had given me was correct.  So that's good.  Now to wait for a phone call.  Maybe Easter Sunday?  That would be great!  This has turned out to be a great day!  Thanks for the support from everyone!

Yeh! Same thing here with the handwriting, even my husband noticed it. I didn't say a word to see if he'd notice & say something. so neat, but you could tell it was his. If they are doing that with the handwriting, just Imagine what they are doing with the boys we sent, men will sure be made. I didn't get a note either didn't have my hopes up on that one. Rest well tonight sea sister<3

I said the exact thing about my son's handwriting!  It was incredibly neat.  I didn't get a personal note on the form letter either and I figured it was probably because it took him so long to write the information neatly that he didn't have time to write anything personal! lol

I told my step-son not to stress himself out in anyway for us, to focus on what he is doing, that's the mst important thing. I said if you have some time & want to write, you know I'll cherish the letter forever, but if you need 10 minutes for yourself to gather your thoughts & reboot, that's fine too. I told him "I know you are going to be ok, you are strong like that" I love him so much, just made myself tear up. As parents all of us here must have done something right to have children who are proud, strong & brave, eager to serve their country & defend the freedoms we all enjoy. Hugs & God Bless them all<3

Has anyone from Ship11/Div155 received a call or letter from their SR?  I'm still anxiously awaiting a call and/or letter!

Nothing yet. Haven't got the mail yet today tho
