For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

CLB-4
Our new group is a Marine battalion called CLB-4. This group has a Tucson connection as at least
1 Marine is from here. His grandma works at the Quilter's Market and is responsible for their support for Heads at Ease.
Our POC is the chaplain and we will mail all pcs to him for distribution. He told me the other that the chaplain from the ESB had a surplus of pcs, so he passed them onto him. He said he received 3 boxes and he thinks there are 90. Soooo, that said, I am moving up the waves so he can get to handing them out. He didn't want to until I told him we were ready to start shipping.
They need about 525. Not sure if the 90 comes off that number or if that is in addition to. But I will confirm. If someone has some ready and wants to ship this week, great, but it is not necessary. I have alot on hand and might as well get them to the troops.

Here are the 50 I'm shipping today. The picture that has 30 in it are all pc's that were made and donated by ladies that attended a sewing day at a local fabric store, Sew Katie Jean.
The remaining 20 were from the stash of pc's I made.
