11 days to go...
No phone calls to any of our four phones... :( Just a continuance of my horrible weekend here. But tomorrow will be the start of a beautiful week ahead as I can feel it!!! Did your hubby happen to tell you ever what day count he was on in any of his letters? My son did, so I have a good guess at when BS could be, but not quite sure. It was way back on April 5th. I was so hoping for a call this week but think it could possibly still be a week away.
No day count on his letters! :( Hopefully this week's mail will bring a wealth of information! ;)

Good morning Ladies, I am reading that it is a 30 minute walk from the gate to the ceremony. My husband had a hip replacement and I'm not sure if he can do all that walking. Does anyone know if there is a shuttle for this type of situation?
Appreciate any help in this direction. Have a Blessed Day!!
JMom,
If you have access to a car, I'd get your husband's doctor to give him a temporary handicapped parking pass. We parked in the parking deck. If I recall, there were handicapped parking spaces on the bottom level. It was an easy, short, five minute stroll into the Hall. The folks at RTC were very helpful the day of PIR. The 800 division is seated on the far end of the Hall from the parking deck.
Here is the number for the Public Affairs office. It would be worth a call to find out if they suggest other options.
