All of this gets my goat! I have a fairly decent sense of humor and I always try to view things thru that but all of the confusion just wears on a person. I really don't understand why the recruiters can't get accurate information. I'm unsure what's right at this point. The address that I got from the recruiter perfectly matches the one listed on the official Recruit Training Command for ship 14, but after hearing so many stories, who knows?!? I think I'll stick with my plan of still sending letters until I get the form letter. I'll just not be as detailed in those letters and will just write 2 a day! lol. One to send that's basic and one to hold and send later thats more detailed. If she gets them soon, awesome, if she doesn't she won't have been expecting them anyway so shouldn't feel bad. Bleh. Maybe we should all just go on  vacation for a couple of weeks and pretend it's us that left!

Maybe my daughter's recruiter got the address wrong or maybe he got her whole ship wrong. He wrote it down and I don't know why it's different.

Thanks Mikey's Mom!

Kira,

Hope you are having a good day so far! Let me know when you receive your form letter! Maybe we'll get everything sorted out soon! Still really glad to be in contact with someone else whose daughter is in the same place!

Yeah, hoping that letter comes every day. It will mean everything can reliably go to her and I'll know for sure what ship/div they put her in. It can change after they tell the recruiters as well. The only real info comes straight from the RTC the day they're processed to account for any last-minute changes involved.

I hope our E's are doing well! I want her to be go through this as comfortably as possible though I know it's super hard and I sure couldn't do it.
