DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am hearing some not so great things happening on this website.

They range from cliques to RDC's trolling so they can cause problems for our SR's.

I have decided that I don't need this site like a handful of others I have heard from that have been publicly chastised on this site for posting things as mundane as their child's first name.

This is a sad thing, considering the idea behind it is a great one.  I shall just be smart and stick with the actual Navy Website, my SR's recruiter and my SR for any information I need along with the group I have joined elsewhere that appears to have more knowledge of what is happening due to the fact there are more there sharing without fear of being talked down to or slapped in the face by someone else's words.

Shame on those of you that had less than good judgement in your actions and thoughtlessness in what you placed out in open forum towards other mothers who are just trying to make it through the next day of not hearing from their SR's.

Concernedad, LOL. I don't think much scares you off - not even a bunch of PMS or pre/post PMS or MM (between menopause and Medicare) women running loose and mouthing off at any excuse. I do wish more guys have your courage.

OK Concernedad; YOU returned (very thankfully) to move this thread up to the top, so no more posts from you about "ending" anything! LOL  I agree as usual with Bunker. It would be nice to have a few more "good men" willing to put up with us MM's and PMS ladies.....now there is one scary thought. Can you imagine if we had a huge get together in one location?  My mind is spinning out of c o  n   t    r      o        l   ..........  :-)   LOL

Bunker.....before you REALLY retire would you consider planning this for us?????  Just kidding. LOL  :-)

I think I should go and take my meds..

I am always gamed for a big blow out party. You mean like a convention?

Abby came from OK and spend a week w me in CA last year. We met thru N4M. She saved my butt - my younger son was at OU and we needed to clear out his stuff from his room. I couldn't go (from CA) but Abby & her husband step in for me. Now that is a real friend. Oh Abby where are you?  She loves salmon so that's what she got everyday!  We had a meet and greet and my house and she met 15 local San Fran Bay area N4M members.

Angie and Craig have already promised to drop by if they are ever in CA and lemonE is thinking about it since I won't go to tornado and hurricane country. LOL.  ebigirl?  Concerned?

Is that code for "stupidity"?

I missed that dad...code????

See BQB's post:  "I do wish more guys have your courage."

OH, absolutely NOT!! It's not code for anything Dad...

OK ebigirl, you can't pin this on me! I only post here immediately after another, so my additions are only adding minutes. I still don't know why we've picked this thread for a chatroom.

QB, if you're inviting me to your house, I'm on my way! Hide the good silver and crystal! I'm bringing all my relatives! Do you have indoor plumbing in your neck of the woods? I've heard of it, but never seen it. YEEEHHHAAAWWW!

P.S. I'm bringing momma bear with me.

You guys probably don't believe me - here's proof. 28 or was it 30 of us got together in '09.

Bunker that is so cool  Deniseseabee mom, always ready, and grazi and I got together in Norfolk We had a great time putting a face with a name;.

That's not proof of anything! For all we know, that might be your local book club. I do note, in that second picture, the one woman insisted you blur out her face. I would insist on the same if I ever get together with this group.

Hey, I'm only 2 states away up here in WA...A road trip is sounding really good about now. I think I just might plan a road trip for the spring...does that sound good to you Bunker? I will have to start saving now....I'm SOOOOO excited!!!

I can think of a couple of other moms that might want to come also! Not that it matters, but where in Calif. do you live?

Concernedad: Not sure where you live, but I will go out of my way to pick you up!! LOL  :-) And we WILL find Mamma Bear on our way!!!

I've never been to San Fran area...I'm definately going in the spring. Count me in.

Denise-a retired seabeemom lives here in WA also...she would be a great road trip companion. Are you out there Denise? Paging Denise!!
