How's everyone doing today?? I had a crappy day yesterday and today is alright. I miss my kid!! Anyone received a phone call this weekend? I was hopeful since it is a holiday weekend but nothing do far!
no phone call here. everyday does bring a different emotion doesn't it. hope today has been better for ya
Hi ladies. I was really hoping to get a call this weekend, too. Maybe tomorrow ... Started making plans for PIR, kinda fun, kinda stressful. Glad you finally got your form letter, alexsmom, gee that took a while. did hold it tight and just hug it? That's what I did. It's hanging on my fridge, I love just seeing his writing.
I haven't given up hope Ellen. Lol. Tomorrows the actual federal holiday so I'll be keeping my phone close! I made our reservation today for PIR. I'm so excited!!
lol no i did the happy dance. it was nice to see his handwriting too.

Good Monday Morning Ladies!! OK fingers are crossed that today we get to hear from our babies ooops sorry MEN!! LOL..Hey Ellen and Kitty, Paula and I were talking about wearing a certain color scarf to the PIR to help see all of our new Navy Mom friends easier :) What do you guys think? Or any ideas..Have been reading some older PIR post for some things to do and some info..Im sure the vets on our PIR page will discuss things like this..Told you Im just an impatient person :) lol. Also seen where you can buy their div tshirts there too at the PIR hall!! I'll tell you I just LOVE this site! It has been so helpful..My oldest son graduated boot camp in 2001 and we didnt have nothing like this..By the time we got to the hall it was packed..very overwelming..emotional..didnt have any time to look at things before grad if they even had things and after was to excited about having my son in my arms!! Also just having the support and knowing you arent alone is nice..My husband was out at sea when my Mike left..Sept.11th happened and I had 4 other kids at home to care for and because I was a Navy wife it was like people didnt understand why I was upset! So being able to chat with other moms is great!! Cant wait to meet you all :)

Good morning. I really hope today is the day we get a call!! I just want a few minutes of kyles voice!! The scarves are a great idea! Donna you know from talking to me that I am not a patient person either. I'm so ready for October 19!! I remember my husbands PIR like it was yesterday! I constantly visualize Kyle on that day and I see his dad! I'm so excited to meet all of you and your children!!
