For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Apparently bf got to call his dad yesterday for more security clearance questions. He called me a week ago. Unfortunately he knew I wouldnt be able to answer his question yesterday so he couldn't call me. I was having a really hard day yesterday and now I'm feeling kind of crappy again! Glad to know all is well but I could have really used hearing his voice yesterday! Oh well the important thing is he is good and well.

Hang in there Jennifer, they are there and safe and now we can look forward to seeing them again. I was feeling crappy yesterday and did some retail therapy (aka: shopping). Woke up to a bright new day knowing I am one day closer to seeing him again. That is where I need to keep my mind, one day at a time means one day closer. You can make it, you are strong.

I want to take a shopping trip pretty soon. It will definitely be therapeutic =) I'm feeling better now. I'm glad to know he's well and healthy. I look forward to next week to getting a letter. Thankfully it's almost the weekend. It'll be nice to have a stress free weekend to relax, and think happy thoughts of my SR =)

I received my fiance's form letter yesterday, so I was able to mail him a few of the letters that I've already sent. I am going to stagger mailing them out so that he doesn't receive 10 letters in one day. I was going crazy not knowing anything. Now that I have a date and an address, I already feel a little better.

Happy Saturday everyone. Hope you are all having a wonderful day. I've had a crappy start, but hopeful it'll get better! =) Someone on the FB group posted that their son called yesterday from div 022, ship 04. They informed her that they had their first PT and Uniform check, and also that at least in their division/ship that even though they get to write on Sunday's, their letters may not go out for 5 days after that day! So hang in there everyone..

My son is also in Ship 13 Div 027. We are traveling from Texas. My nephew is in Ship 12 Div 030. So there will be a big group of us. We are staying in Homewood Suites in Lincolnshire, I hope it is not too far from the b

Homewood suites is 11mi/21 min from base. Not bad just plan accordingly. :)
Also Thats awesome your son and nephew are graduating at the same time! -

Hello. My son is also in Ship 13 Division 027. I look forward to meeting all of you. We live in the mountains of Western North Carolina. We will be driving up for PIR. We are staying at the Navy Lodge 1 mile from base. We booked weeks ago! I miss my son terribly, it's hard going this long without seeing or talking to him.

I received a letter today from bf!! (DIV 027). He said they are doing well, the division hasn't really gotten it together completely yet, but they are working on it. They received mail this past Saturday, and now they will get it every day (unless the division does something wrong), but only be able to write on Sunday's. They are at Week 2 Day 1 as of TODAY. They were on hold for 1 week before they did their processing days, then went to week 1 now week 2. Remember, weekends don't count as days.
