Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 119 and 120

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Red Rover, I sent you an email invite to the Facebook PIR group- I don't know if it worked.  I don't remember how I found it myself!  Hope you are having a good week.  Maybe we will get letters tomorrow.  15 more days until we see our boys.

Thanks MaryK, I also got one from Christi and was able to get on and look around.  Still like it here because of the Vet Moms who keep us all straight. LOL.  Yes 14 more days cant wait.

Earlier someone said something about if we didn't receive a phone call on Saturday, we might be getting one tonight. But I can't remember who it was.

My SR called on Sat. and we talked for almost an hour, he thought we would only get 30 min. and that we would get the other 30 on Thursday but then they got to talk for the whole hour so I just assumed that those who didnt get to call then would get their turn on thursday.  I read somewhere that the phone banks are kind of reserved by the RDC for their division.  Any words from the vets???

That's good. Hopefully my SR will be calling either today or this weekend. I look forward to hearing from him. It's been a long time since I've received a phone call.

I did finally get a phone call from my SR on Saturday. We talked for almost an hour as well. Then he received another phone call later that night because of his perfect scores on his tests. 10 more days until graduation !

Is anyone making a centerpiece for our Div 120 table at m&g....if not i would be happy to!!!

Hi Lola - I replied on FB, but I wanted to make sure you got it!  I will be happy to contribute financially to a centerpiece.  Just let me know.

Me too! We might be a little late getting there,
Well I am jealous of all the other divisions who are getting calls, anyone else with me, we have to wait till wed or thurs to get our calls. Keep lighting those blue candles and keep praying. It's getting so close tomorrow is their favorite day, the day of rest. Sleep well our future sailors.

I was a little jealous today too- I was hoping for a call too- but happy for all the other families.  I'm trying to take part or all of the day after BS off so I'll be home for the call.  It sounds like it will be a long one- I keep adding ?s to ask him to my list!  I hope our DIV enjoyed their day today and  will get some more rest on Sunday to prepare.  Sounds like some DIVs got to go to Recruit Haven- hope our boys get a chance too.  Just a few more days!

Congrats to 115 and 117 for captains cup. It's great that 117 won because they were having such a hard time Just goes to show you the power of pray for them worked.
