Just received the form letter today letting me know my son's PIR date is 21 June 2013.  How can I find out who the other moms are (with sons/daughters) with same PIR date?  Thanks.

When did your son arrive at boot camp? My SR arrived on the 23rd and I'm still waiting for the BOX to arrive home.

Kim, my son arrived on the 23rd, too!  The box came today as did the form letter.  The FedEx driver was a woman about my age who handed me the box with tears in her eyes.  She said, "My son was in the Navy, and I know what this box means to you."  We both cried!  Your box and form letter should come very soon.  I'm in Connecticut, where are you located?

I just chocked up reading this. I received the box today, so here's hoping my letter will get here soon! I have already wrote a few letters for him, it's killing me to not be able to send those yet. I'm in Cleveland Ohio, so maybe tomorrow!

Kim my son is on Ship 13, Div 230.  Maybe our sons are in the same division!  Let me know as soon as you receive your letter.

I will as soon as I receive my form letter, praying it is in the mail today.   I will let you know what ship/division mine is on!

Join the group, PIR 06/21/2013 TG 32, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.

I see you have joined PIR Reference Information; you may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.

Thank you so much!  Appreciate all the information.

You are very welcome.

I received my letter today and my son's PIR date is June 21 also

Good!  Wasn't it exciting!?  My son is in Ship 13 Div 230.  I did make hotel reservations at the Navy Lodge last night ($66) and will make airline reservations soon.  What wonderful boys we have!!

We were told to stay on base at the Navy Lodge also...saves travel time in and out of base that way.   I'm so excited,  can't wait to see our boys in June!

Still waiting for my form letter. :( I raided my mailbox like a crazy women today. Ha. Maybe tomorrow!
