Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 307 and 308

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Carmen47 - how long are you staying for PIR?  My son is going to Dam Neck VA for A school so I'm not sure when he will need to fly out.  Are you bringing more than 4 people to PIR?  My son and my Mother in Law will be staying back and watching PIR on the Internet.

hi GregsMOM   i plan to drive to PIR  get there on Thur and stay till Saturday.. my son should fly out to

San Diego California on Saturday  or Sunday (Sonar Tech) for A school.. there will be five of us, since my son put his girlfriend on the list my other son and daughter will be staying at the hotel to meet up after with there brother.  they will be watching from PIR at the hotel ..

Hi Carmen47 - after seeing a too much negative about the Ramada I decided to switch to the Navy Gateway.  They still had rooms when I called this afternoon.  The number I called to make a reservation is (847)689-1485.

thanks i going to check it out tomorrow.  just pick Ramada inn because they got in  inside pool... :)

Have not seen you on line in a while.  Are you okay?

We are staying at the Ramada too

My son Joseph is in DIV 308. Received his box last week but didn't receive the letter till yesterday. Now at least I have his address so I can send letters to him.
My son is also on ship 13 div 307. I have received the box and the form letter but no phone call yet. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn.
My son is ship 13 division 307. My letter had all 4 of us listed for PIR. Me, my husband, my son (14), and my daughter (9). There are only 3 allowed? Great, how do I choose??? I can't wait to get a call or letter. The only thing on the form letter that was added by my son was a smiley face. Lol
Hi GregsMom!! I'm kind of having a down day today. I've been on that roller coaster too. Hoping Brett is doing ok, but really missing him. This is a bad month for me. I'm coming up on the anniversary of my dad dying. He and my son were so close. The 4 th of July was special for them. Guess that's why I miss Brett so much right now. I'm trying to stay busy. Sorry for being such a downer today.
Are most of you staying the nights of the 15th and 16th for PIR? I've got to make a reservation. Sounds like some of you are going to the Ramada Inn, guess I will try there first.

yes, we are staying at the Ramada the 15th and 16th
