Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 307 and 308

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am going to the meet and greet and in would love to meet other moms - I am so excited to see my son!
Fingers crossed that we all get calls today!
I've been doing pretty good lately but this morning in church I just wanted to cry. Just having a pity party. :( I hope these last weeks go by fast. I think I'll be ok when I am able to hear from him. So hard to just lose all contact!
I just got a call!!!!! So happy. Ship 014 Div 307. He sounds so much better than last call. Now I can quit worrying so much. Thank you Jesus My Lord for taking care of him.
Yay!!! So my son was right! Lol. I'll see what info I can get today about our guys. :)
Your son was absolutely right! Thank you. I was sitting on the couch waiting, just in case!

Keep your phones handy Wednesday!

Thanks much OklahomaMama!  We got a call at my Mother in Laws so my husband and I and everyone else got a chance to talk with my son.  Greg mentioned someone named Ethan and said that they were friends.  Does anyone have a son named Ethan J?  I would love to connect with Ethan's mom:).  I will definitely have my phone ready on Wednesday for the phone call.  I really appreciate the advance warning - it helps me to settle down in between calls.

You are very welcome!!!  I'm glad I can give a heads up when calls are possible.  I hope it helps people be ready, and not miss a phone call.  They are supposed to be having a down day Wednesday for some reason, and that is why they'll get to call. :)

Yeah!
Still so happy after the call. Son was sick with the "crud" and had SIQ one day and on limited light duty for three days. Said they gave him antibiotics, throat spray, lozenges and allergy medicine and he's feeling good now. I asked about wisdom teeth and he doesn't have to have any taken out! Yeah.

We got a call yesterday too Ship 14 Dive 308!  We missed the call last weekend due to bad phone connection.  We made good on this call!!!  He sounded pretty good.  Very thankful for the call!  Said they just got done marching for 2 hrs...In his letters he said that he likes marching because he gets to be outside and that is the only time they are outside....lol
