Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 387 and 388

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I am SO glad you rec'd your letter WeeBee's Mom!  We rec'd the form letter on Monday and it was a good thing to see my daughter's address and graduation date!  I do get calls from 847 but that is due to friends living 9 miles from the Navy Base where our sailors are!  Hang in there and talk to you later.

Chi's Mom

We are from Indiana
:)

We are staying at the Holiday Inn in Waukegan.  If you call they have a BC graduation package.  Plus it is walking distance to places to eat, and near the Sarge Meet and Greet.

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing great, and try to enjoy this end of Summer holiday weekend!!

I know we are all praying for that letter or phone call.

Is it bad when you start talking to your cell phone, saying come on ring ring 847, 847 847.

Then it finally rings and you answer, you see it's your husband. UGGHH "oh it's you!!" lol

No letter or call yet for me either. Like others have said, no news is good news at this stage of the game!!! I was happy to have a short sweet note in my form letter.

This must be the weekend we get our letters or calls, if not I agree with you boocoo, no news is good news!

NausetMom, I agree this weekend......
But I keep remembering what my SR's recruiter told me. It's Navy time not your time....

Ok did not get a letter today, but was happy to receive the Ship 12 challenge coin I ordered on Wed arrive.  Couldn't believe it came so fast.  It is bigger than I thought, I know my son will like it.

where did you find challenge coin for specifically for ship 12??

PIRGIFTS.com,

NausetMom, no letter for me either....

Moms, .I sent him blister Band Aids and reg. band aids. to my son and my daughter freaked ahe thinks he is going to get in trouble, you could kind of feelt them in there.....I don't want this to hinder him being able to write or call.....I know we can send phone cards...

Good evening, ladies. Here's hoping that any news that may come in from GL is happy news. This Friday night is a lot better for me than last Friday. It probably has something to do with the fact that when I got home from work my husband told me that we are all booked for flight, rental car, and Navy Lodge. Action and progress. I like it! Everyone stay healthy and strong and have a happy, safe Labor Day Weekend.
